Steve is a highly skilled website designer and developer. He excels at translating business ideas and information into a seamlessly navigable and visually appealing web identity. Steve is able to merge content with visual design to create engaging interactions for target audiences.

He spent most of his adult life on the sports desk of major metro newspapers like the Rocky Mountain News and the Chicago Sun-Times. A former editor, designer, reporter and producer, he was assistant sports editor for interactive in his final newspaper role at the Rocky. Following the closure of the newspaper, he helped launch two online news ventures before moving into freelance work and eventually forming Purple Rivers Design. Steve has a degree in English from the University of South Dakota and was an award-winning news designer before moving into online production and development.
